Missions

Let the nations be glad and sing for joy; For You will judge the peoples with uprightness and guide the nations of the earth. (Psalm 67:4)

There are several ways in which Country Acres seeks to obey Christ's mandate to make disciples of all nations.

  • Cooperative Program of the SBC

The Cooperative Program (CP) is the primary funding mechanism for World Missions in the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC). CABC gives a portion of our annual budget to the CP which supports over 5000 overseas missionaries through the International Mission Board of the SBC. The CP also helps to fund domestic missions through the North American Mission Board. You can learn more about International missions through the SBC by visiting the International Mission Board web site.

  • Mexico Missions

Mexico Missions at CABC consists of our mission work in the state of Guerrero,Mexico. We support Seminario Teologico Bautista del Sur (STBS) in San Jeronimito. We also send teams to Guerrero to participate in mission projects such as evangelistic visitation, VBS, leadership conferences, and construction projects.

  • Robb and Vicky Hazen

    Church Planting Missionaries

Missionaries Robb and Vicky Hazen are directly supported each month by CABC. Robb is a member of our church who moved to Mexico to attend STBS and to do church planting and pastoral work. Robb and his wife Vicky are graduates of the seminary. Together they planted a church in Tumbiscatio, Michoacan in the summer of 2007. In July 2014, Robb & Vicky moved to the U.S. while Vicky is pursuing citizenship. They hooked up with our local association and are planting churches in the Hispanic communities of Winfield and Arkansas City, KS. They plan to return to Mexico to plant churches. Robb and Vicky have a son, Isaias, and a daughter, Belen.

  • Embrace

Embrace offers a number of services for those dealing with unplanned pregnancies and issues of sexual health. Embrace is also active in sharing the gospel with their clients. CABC supports this ministry through both funding and volunteers.

  • Church Planting Partnerships

CABC partners with other churches and our local Baptist association to plant new churches in our area. Another church planted us in 1958. In the same way, we desire to be involved in multiplying believers through church planting.
