Meal Train® is a registered trademark of Meal Train LLC.  It is not a CABC organization, and our church as a legal entity has no relationship with Meal Train®.  Meal Train® provides a website that facilitates coordinating the delivery of meals to a Meal Train® recipient.  Persons using the Meal Train® website must create a Meal Train® account and agree to Meal Train® terms and conditions as individuals.
This page is intended to familiarize you with how to arrange meal delivery for someone you would like to help.
When someone desires a recipient (or recipient family/group) to receive meals, that person uses their Meal Train® account to create a Meal Train® and share the generated web page link with others.

People responding to your Meal Train® invitation would deliver those meals.
CABC does not have a designated Meal Train® coordinator.  However, each of us is able to partner with the church to make meals and serve our body together in this tangible way.  After you have made your link please email it to Tami, our church secretary, so she can share the link by prayer chain email.
  • Many at our church have a Meal Train® account.  The accounts are free and easy to set up.
  • An account is needed to participate in a Meal Train® and deliver a meal.
  • An account is needed to create a Meal Train® and become the coordinator for a particular meal delivery effort.  The meal recipient need not have an email address (the coordinator can use their own email address if necessary).
  • A Meal Train® can be created by anyone having an account.  The initiator becomes a coordinator for that particular meal delivery effort.
  • Coordinators have the responsibility of coordinating with the meal recipient including learning the recipient’s food allergies, food likes/dislikes and scheduling preferences.
  • Meal providers use a Meal Train® link a coordinator established and sends to them via the coordinator’s private methods (paper printed, email, text, Facebook, X, etc.).
  • Meal Train® pages are private by default.
  • That means only people receiving a link from the coordinator can see the page.
  • Meal Train® pages are not searchable.

Tips from experienced Meal Train® coordinators:
  • Meals do not have to be gourmet! Sam’s meals to go or a rotisserie chicken and a bagged salad are always appreciated!!!
  • Spicy foods are usually not good for new moms or post-surgery patients.
  • If the people receiving a meal have an allergy that makes it hard for you to figure out what to bring, just ask them for ideas!
  • Don’t set the calendar for every day. Every other day is usually better because leftovers start to pile up.
  • Buy Tupperware that’s cheap that people don’t have to return to you.
  • Always remember to write the allergy on the meal train in bold so it isn’t missed by anyone!
