Curtis Hedrick

Curtis started in the current position as the Maintenance Tech on January 5th 2026.  He met and married his beautiful wife Melanie in 1989 while attending Bethel Life Center church in Wichita.  Curtis and Melanie started attending CABC in 2010 and joined shortly after.  Both grew up in Christian homes having received Christ at an early age. They have 3 grown sons David, Brandon & Matthew (twins).  Curtis recently retired from his position with an insurance company where he managed the underwriting department and involved in the sales department for 13 years.  Melanie is recently retired from the Wichita Schools USD 259 where she spent many years teaching grade school kids as a PARA educator making a difference in their lives.  Both Curtis and Melaine are members of the CABC choir and connect team ministries.  Curtis also serves on the security team ministry.  All 3 boys (men) are serving at CABC as well.  David (tuba) and Matthew (trumpet) in the orchestra ministry and Brandon serves under Pastor Steve Hazell with the Youth ministry.  As members of CABC, we are thrilled to be a part of a wonderful family of believers where the the word of God and Jesus’s love for us is preached.  We look forward to many more years with the CABC family.
