Bible Studies

Ladies Bible Study
Starts August 6th at 10 am   12 week study.   Cost of Book $10.
Teachers:  Jane Hitchcock, LeAnn Scroggins, Pam Turner

The early Jewish believers had come from a background of legalism and works. When God came to earth in human flesh as the New Covenant, these believers discovered the freedom they could have in Jesus and the relationship they could enjoy with Him. Yet in the midst of persecution and rejection, they were often tempted to hold on to the former symbols, rituals, and traditions
grounded in the requirements of the Old Covenant.

The unknown author of Hebrews sought to address this problem by contrasting the Old and New Covenants, brilliantly showing that Christ is higher than any Old Testament character, priest, ritual, or sacrifice. Because of Jesus' life, death, and resurrection, He is the perfect sacrifice and our own High Priest. And He has given all believers unfettered access to God!
Ladies Precept Bible Study
A 9-week class starting August 22, 2024, studying Psalms chapters 1-41.
Meeting in room 101.

Each Thursday you have the choice of coming to a 1:00 pm or 7:00 pm class time.

Through psalms, we learn about God, His attributes, what pleases and displeases Him,
His relationship to the righteous and to the wicked and His revelation of the future concerning Messiah, salvation and judgment.

The Encouragers

The rapture is the central event in biblical prophecy. But what does it mean for us today? How can this crucial end times event draw us nearer to God in a world that is seemingly on the brink of chaos? Political turmoil, economic uncertainty, an ideological divide that feels increasingly impassable—the signs of the times point us toward the end, and that can be disconcerting.
But the greatest truth about the rapture is not its timing, but its reality—for blessed are all who long for His appearing.
The Great Disappearance is a culmination of decades of Dr. Jeremiah studying end times throughout the Bible. In this definitive volume he will explain the meaning of the word rapture, the difference between the rapture and the second coming, and the joy of expecting our Savior to come at any given moment. Dr. Jeremiah will also explore key questions such as:
 Who will be raptured?
 When will it happen?
 What will happen to those left behind?
 What will believers experience when they are taken away to heaven?
 Will non-believers still have time to repent and be saved?
Dr. Jeremiah seeks to answer all of those questions and many more, not with sensationalism or stories ripped from the headlines but with solid, biblical truth. Because God has laid out His plan for us in His Word so that we might not be caught unaware. We may not know the exact date that the rapture will happen, but we do know it will happen. Are you ready for it?

Connect & Grow

Imitate God. Walk in love.
Ephesians 5:1-2

The Women’s Ministry of CABC encourages and challenges women to imitate God and walk in love through the study of His Word,  prayer, fellowship, and service.  We have an abundance of opportunities to do this – through  Bible study, multi-generational connection groups, special events, retreats, ministry teams, and more.

Once a month  |  Small groups for women

Based on the foundation of biblical doctrine and gracious culture,  Journey Circles are designed to encourage lasting friendships. Scripture instructs Christians to “encourage one another and build each other up” (1 Thes. 5:11), and we find that meeting in homes provides a comfortable place to do just that.  Our Journey Circles meet once a month. We’d love to have you join us!  Sign up here:
