Bible Studies

Tuesdays at 10:00 AM
Jane Hitchcock
In the face of false teachings about Jesus, the apostle John took a direct approach. “I heard Jesus speak,” he wrote. “I saw him . . . I even touched him.” Just as we would write about someone we knew and loved, John told the early believers the truth about the Savior. But he didn’t let them off the hook without an examination of their lives. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us” (1 John 1:9). John was not alone in his concern about the influence of false teachers in the early church. Jude, a half-brother of Christ, also wrote to the believers. In his letter, he firmly warned against defecting from true biblical faith, urged all believers to fight for truth, and encouraged all followers of Jesus to stand firm in spite of intense spiritual warfare.

GAINING A TRUE KNOWLEDGE OF CHRIST SO NO ONE DELUDES YOU! What does it mean to be "complete in Christ"? Is Christ your "all in all" - does He meet all your needs? Don't let anyone delude you with man-made philosophies or traditions that contradict the Word of God.
The message of Colossians exposes what is going on in Christianity today and causes you to focus on the source of all life; therefore, the enemy of your soul wants to keep you ignorant of the wonderful mystery revealed in this book.
We will meet each Thursday, 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. This will be a 10 week class starting February 23 through April 27, 2023 in room 101.
The cost of the book is $21.00. You will be able to pay and pick up your book on or after February 23. Contact Beverly McKibban at 316-640-0256 or inhisforgivenness@gmail.com with any questions.

2022 Abiding in Christ Women’s Conference
Connect & Grow
Imitate God. Walk in love.
Ephesians 5:1-2
The Women’s Ministry of CABC encourages and challenges women to imitate God and walk in love through the study of His Word, prayer, fellowship, and service. We have an abundance of opportunities to do this – through Bible study, multi-generational connection groups, special events, retreats, ministry teams, and more.

Once a month | Small groups for women
Based on the foundation of biblical doctrine and gracious culture, Journey Circles are designed to encourage lasting friendships. Scripture instructs Christians to “encourage one another and build each other up” (1 Thes. 5:11), and we find that meeting in homes provides a comfortable place to do just that. Our Journey Circles meet once a month. We’d love to have you join us! Sign up here:
